I am an expert in supply chain and finance,  in particular in trade credit, FinTech, and various forms of interaction between operations, finance and technology. My recent work focuses on operations and government issues related to digital technologies (artificial intelligence, blockchain, and digital platforms). I also work on business analytics, risk management, and value chain innovation.

I teach a wide range of classes in MBA, EMBA and executive programs, including supply chain finance and FinTech, analytics, data science, digital technology, resilience/risk management, and supply chain/value chain management and sustainability.

Beyond academic publication, I frequently share my thoughts and analyses on popular media. My op-eds have appeared in Bloomberg, The Economist, Financial Times, Forbes, South China Morning Post, The Washington Post, and others. I have been interviewed and quoted by BBC, CNBC, The New York Times,  and the Xinhuanet.

I have consulted for and collaborated with companies including United Airlines, Citadel Investment Group, Didi Chuxing, and Alibaba Group. I have also served as an international consultant at Asian Development, specializing on trade finance and FinTech.

I received my PhD and MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Master degree from Northwestern University, and Bachelor Degree from Tsinghua University.
